The 2019 vintage

Balance, and a fair price

A warm year with cool nights that kept freshness. Bordeaux 2019 is excellent and balanced, and was released at prices well below the neighbouring vintages. Burgundy 2019 is outstanding, concentrated in red and rich in white. The Rhône is excellent, Barolo 2019 classic and very fine, Tuscany very good, Champagne very good, Germany superb.
