Политика доставки

This page explains how long delivery takes, where we ship, what it costs and what to do if something goes wrong. It completes our Terms of sale.

Delivery time

Delivery takes seven to ten working days from the order confirmation; most orders arrive within eight. Every bottle is checked by hand before it leaves and travels with the certificate of its vintage.

If you need the bottle for a particular date, order at least two weeks before it, or write to us before you order: we will tell you honestly whether the date can be met. Delivery on a fixed date is guaranteed only if we confirm it in writing.

Where we ship

We ship to the countries offered at checkout, where the sale of alcohol to private customers is allowed. Today they are: Italy, San Marino and Vatican City; Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden; Monaco, Andorra, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom; the United States and Canada; Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea and Taiwan.

For some destinations the checkout limits the weight of a single parcel. We do not deliver to PO boxes or to automated pick-up points.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs depend on the destination and on the weight of the parcel, and are shown at checkout before you pay.

Duties and taxes

Within the European Union, prices include VAT and there are no customs charges. For deliveries outside the European Union, import duties, excise, VAT and clearance fees of the destination country are not included in the price: they are payable by the recipient, usually to the courier before delivery. Import rules for alcohol vary from country to country; a parcel refused because these charges were not paid is treated as a failed delivery.

Tracking and delivery

You receive the tracking number by e-mail as soon as the parcel leaves. The courier delivers against the signature of an adult. If nobody is at home, the courier leaves a notice and tries again; while the parcel is in transit, we can help you redirect it to another address or a collection point.

Packing and temperature

Bottles travel upright, held on every side by a protective insert inside a rigid box, packed in a plain outer carton. When the parcel is a gift, no prices are included. In a heatwave or a hard frost we may hold a bottle for a day or two rather than leave it in a depot, and we always tell you when we do.

Transit cover

Transit cover is an optional service you can add at checkout, costing about 5% of the order value and never pre-selected. With Transit cover, a bottle that arrives broken or a parcel that is lost is replaced with a bottle from the same year where one can be found, or refunded in full including delivery, within 48 hours of your photographs reaching us. Without Transit cover, we handle the claim with the courier on your behalf, and replacement or refund follow the courier's procedure and liability limits.

If the parcel arrives damaged or late

Check the parcel when it arrives. If it is visibly damaged, you can refuse it or sign "subject to inspection". Report any damage within 48 hours of delivery to info@anno.wine or +39 342 639 8349, with photographs of the outer box, the packing, the label and the bottle, and keep everything until the claim is closed.

If your tracking has not moved for two working days, tell us: we chase the courier ourselves.

Failed delivery

If a parcel comes back to us because it was not collected, the address was wrong or incomplete, delivery was refused or import charges were not paid, we contact you to arrange a new shipment, whose cost is payable by you.
